The history of man is, among other things, the history of torture to their peers. The urge to punish, to enclose, to hit to cause death is a feature that draws a line between man and evil the rest of the animals.
Again and again history repeats itself. Any man who grows in her womb the rare flower of Utopia who believes that another world is possible and try to fight for it, that does not abide to the conformism of the inevitable, must be prepared for the possibility of passion. The more vehement is shown to fight injustice, the more "passion" put it, the greater the misunderstanding to which they must face. History is full of anonymous men who gave their lives to the relentless fire that hard heroism. For others, the least the history books gold letters, and the seeds sown by their actions have increased steadily.
In my work on the Passion I wanted to talk first of all the pain, sorrow infinite that triggers the cruelty that man tries to eliminate it considers its enemies, misunderstanding, helplessness before the ruthless power, gloom full of perplexity in which those who are stricken life sentence to live with the terrible no one that has been taken away. The Passion of the Christ, for that matter, is emblematic, his, like all those who filled their mouths from the blinding light of truth unbearable for those who exercised power. His life, and all who made it, like all made possible from it, is the yeast required the bread of a new world in which consciousness, happiness, forgiveness and wisdom take the place of hatred and destruction.
